A Performance-Based Approach to Pre and Post-Natal Training

Trainers have the power to reshape the pre-natal fitness industry. Most popular web sites, magazines, and even leading medical organizations advise expectant moms to simply walk to stay fit or lift 3-5 pound weights for lots of reps. But does "pregnancy lite" exercise really prepare women for, what many will say is, the most difficult physical feat of their lives?

There's a lot more to pregnancy training than just Kegels. In this 5-hour workshop you'll take an in-depth look at the physiological changes of pregnancy, key anatomical and postural adjustments, contraindications and medical considerations, specific programming strategies for each trimester, and post-partum reconditioning exercises to help mom heal from common conditions, such as diastasis recti and pelvic floor disorder.

This performance-based approach to pre- and post-natal training will help you provide your clients with more effective (and evidence-based!) strategies so that they may have a stronger 9-months, a smoother delivery, and a quicker recovery.
